:: Other than that? My Easter vacation has started and I've decided to spend th majority of it in the library (how exciting!). Yep, I should prepare for my exams, plus it saves me loads of money that I can spend on other things (i.e. shopping!). It's not that bad though because I am going to Cornwall for a weekend with my flatmate, which should be fun ...

13.03.2002 Ok, ok, ok, I admit it! I've been a bit lazy with the updating of this page. Let's see, where should I start ...

:: BIG NEWS: the internet is marvelous! I've found an old friend of mine! While surfing the net and typing random names into google I typed in the name of a girl I once knew very well (slight understatement). And guess what? I came across an email address that could be hers, emailed her and it turns out it is her! Couldn't believe it, especially since I've been trying to find out about her from friends in ages! Anyways, interesting stuff you find there ... (also, I found out that my dad has a Phd, that neither I nor he knew about, interesting isn't it?)

:: Other than that, exams coming up soon, actually, very soon ... uargh!

19.01.2002 Aaaaarghhhh, I'll NEVER touch alcohol again! Celebrated my birthday with loads of people yesterday at the Ruby Lounge, which was quite good fun. This morning though, I had to have other people tell me about the last hour before I went home, because that seems to have escaped my memory completely.

:: Hmmm, judging form what heard I supposedly did, it's probably better that I don't remember that clearly ;o)

06.01.2002 Hooray! I am back in London! It was a strange vacation this year, I guess times change and going home just isn't the same as it was two years ago. Hmmmmm ... All in all, happy to be back, live my own little, independent student life ...

12.12.2001 Tadah!!! I have successfully passed my light blue belt grading. I was kneed in the face, kicked in the solar plexus (chest) and got a bit bruised here and there, but I am alive and kickin'!!!

:: Finally, this Saturday I am going home for christmas, still have a paper to write and a presentation to do, but without sleep and loads of coffee that should all be well and fine ...

:: Still don't know what I want to do with my life though. Any suggestions?

12.11.2001 Big, bad and bruised I am back from the Jitsu nationals in Birmingham! Unfortunately I didn't make it into the finals, but Mary Ann from ULU Jitsu club kept up our honor in winning Gold!! Congratulations, girl! I'll train hard and maybe next time ...

09.11.2001 Wow, it's been a month again that I've updated ... either nothing to write or just too much. I think I'll opt for the latter. And besides, there are certain things that don't need to go on the net anyways ...

:: Loads of work for uni to do (web building is a welcome distraction), blah, blah, blah, so I am trying hard, but it doesn't stop me from going to the Jitsu nationals in Birmingham this weekend, yey! Should be fun, lotsa bruises (my flatmates will have icepacks ready on Sunday), lotsa Jitsu and a whole lot of drinking potential to be proven to other Jitsu clubs :o)

09.10.2001 I know, I know, I know, I haven't been good at updating fo a while (does anyone actually care?). So here we go:

:: I am back in London, yippie!!! I don't quite know why, but for some reason I am really happy to be back. Just kind of feels good. You know, the old people, my uni, Jitsu, everything!
As it is my last year, I have to work hard, so social life should be restricted to the minimum, but as long as there is time for Jitsu ...
